Rep. Victoria Spartz Shows Video of Danger Trans Athletes Pose to Girls in House Meeting

Rep. Victoria Spartz, Republican of Indiana, presented video evidence showing the dangers of allowing men to participate in women’s sports during a recent House Judiciary Committee hearing on transgender athletes.

Spartz, who opposes transgender people competing as women, pointed to the video as evidence that transgender athletes pose a physical danger to girls in sports. The Blaze report.

“I’d like to actually play the video. …I’d like to know what it actually causes and how much harm it does. And we can show an example.” [how] “You have much stronger men playing sports versus women who are biologically not as strong,” Spartz said.

“Like I said, most of us aren’t biologically that strong, and it’s unfortunate that the other person is actually trying to block the conversation and divert the conversation in another direction. …With women. Let’s talk about how we protect our girls.”

A Republican congressman from Indiana showed a video of three girls being hurt by a transgender athlete during a sports contest.

One of the incidents in the video shown by Rep. Spartz was at a Massachusetts high school where a transgender player injured a female student during a basketball game.

Another video was of an incident in North Carolina where a girl was injured during a volleyball game.

The third incident included in the video was during a high school girls’ lacrosse game in Massachusetts, when a male player slapped a shot that hit a girl in the face and knocked out her tooth.

“Girls actually get injured from playing sports that men are biologically responsible for. So it’s really hard for me to believe that this is an issue that we can’t stand together with women and girls.” Spartz he said during a committee hearing.

“Let’s be honest. Boys, natural biological boys, have another advantage over women who play sports. Let’s recognize that, be honest, and don’t deflect. [the] We had a conversation,” the official said.
