DoorDash Is A Human Right Because Microwaving Frozen Meals Is Too Hard, Insane Leftists Argue

In some of the most insane Twitter discourse of the year, some seriously ill online leftists recently made their point. need DoorDash is too depressed to open the microwave.

While doing so slightly What was more complicated than that was that the debate essentially surrounded many left-handed people who claimed that their chronic illnesses prevented them from cooking or reheating frozen foods.

Before we get into the specifics, let me just say that there are people in the world who are suffering from serious, debilitating, tragic, and horrifying illnesses that prevent them from performing simple daily tasks that most of us take for granted. I just want to say that there is. . That being said, I believe that the majority of people participating in this criticism, while having severe mental illness, are perfectly capable of opening the microwave door.

In a hilarious but somewhat depressing thread, Twitter user Jeremiah Johnson highlighted some of the most disturbing remarks from the conversation.

One woman argued that it is a human right to have access to all kinds of food at all times, no matter what. “Affording all your food is a basic human right,” she tweeted. “You can’t pick and choose what people deserve.”

And there’s a totally weird thread by a Twitter user (who has both trans and Palestinian flags in his bio, standard procedure) under the handle @sextoyspolitics.

In response to the suggestion that people should microwave frozen food instead of spending extra on the huge markups that food delivery apps charge users, this person posted the most ridiculous thread I’ve ever seen. replied one.

“As someone who regularly eats frozen foods cooked in the microwave, I can tell you that just taking something out of the freezer and putting it in the microwave for a few minutes is not enough.” Tweet read first.

“First, there’s the task of opening the box, which is often more difficult than necessary, and people with hand pain or dexterity issues may not be able to overcome that step.” Stop there. Do it, sex toys. You publish a multi-page article on Twitter criticizing the act of opening frozen food bags with your thumb. I don’t think manual dexterity is an issue here.

“Next is reading and understanding the instructions, which is hard enough for me, especially when I’m tired.” Got that? They just said the quiet parts out loud. The story went from “I need DoorDash because people with disabilities can’t open the microwave” to “Oh, I’m tired.”

The person who posted the sex toy thread, Armando Domalewski, received a ton of hate for his comments. “If you find it this difficult to microwave meals, you really need some form of supervised care.”

One user sent him a message claiming to be using DoorDash because “my family is food insecure.” Grocery shopping, cooking, or ordering frozen meals is almost always literally much cheaper than ordering from a delivery app.

Hey everyone, DoorDash is fine. If you’re a hard-working American and want to enjoy some expensive but delicious takeout once in a while, give this place a try. Life is for living. But food service and delivery-enabled industries that require the labor of other low- and middle-income Americans are, by definition, not “fundamental human rights.” (Related: Featured: DoorDash Driver Dissatisfied With Tips With Customers)

I’ve been watching reruns of “The Walking Dead” a lot lately. It’s a bit inspiring to think about what you would do to survive and rebuild society in a post-apocalyptic world. The fact that I’m relishing a potential hellish future, excited to carve out a role in that potential dystopia, has some kind of undiagnosed mental illness in me. Is it reflected? probably. probably. But I’m going to take whatever underlying psychosis that lingers beneath the surface of my psyche against the selfish, nonsensical state of mind that these weirdos are dealing with.

Literally all of these people would die tomorrow if a solar flare took out the power grid. There’s literally nothing they can do about it. For God’s sake, please be a little proud.

It’s also worth mentioning that the food you eat has a noticeable impact on your overall health, and a big component of that is your mental health. People who door-dash McDonald’s or Taco Bell three times a day only make a myriad of health problems worse.
