Illegal immigrant “immigration influencer” Leonel Moreno, who has been calling on his followers to use illegal occupation laws to occupy vacant homes in the United States, has issued an apparent TikTok ban for mocking American taxpayers. In response, she posted it on Instagram on Wednesday.

In a series of five short clips, Mr. Moreno flaunts large sums of cash, boasts about not having to work, and mocks fellow immigrants who come to the United States for jobs in cleaning, construction, and landscaping.

Moreno’s TikTok account, which had more than 500,000 followers, appears to have been deleted as of Wednesday. In previous videos, the family claimed to have been receiving $350 a week in government benefits and earning up to $1,000 a week on video platforms since entering the United States illegally.

Moreno is said to have cut off his ankle monitor after being released on parole at the border, and is now listed as a “fugitive” by immigration authorities. The New York Post reported Wednesday, citing documents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

ICE did not respond to requests for comment. Moreno was reportedly paroled at the border in April 2022 as part of the government’s Alternative to Detention Program. The program is supposed to track immigrants who are caught and released when there is not enough room to detain them.

Moreno previously told the audience that his plan was to create a business by “invading” vacant properties, occupying them using squatter’s rights laws, and selling them for a profit.
