Washington state high school teacher avoids jail time after having sex with a student while husband was on a hunting trip

Despite rumors spreading throughout the school, relatives and students denied any sexual relationship. At one point, the former educator was harassed on social media regarding an alleged sexual relationship.

An investigation into Kindred’s actions was launched shortly thereafter. The student eventually admitted to authorities that he had messaged Kindred on social media, exchanged inappropriate videos, and even that the two had sex.

Investigators say Kindred said, “I wanted you to come to my room,” “I felt myself getting angry when other girls talked about you in class,” and “I wanted you to come to my room.” It was discovered that the student had been sending sexually suggestive messages such as “I wanted you to come to my room.” “I really like being touched by you.”

According to the report, the student’s mother said Kindred’s actions were a blatant “abuse of power” and that she had been grooming him since he was 16 years old. Her mother went on to say that her son did not graduate from on-campus high school, which she said negatively affected him socially, academically, and emotionally. She pointed out that he missed important milestones and lost some of his youth.

Although Mr. Kindred was found guilty, he will not be sentenced to prison. Her lawyer, Andrew Wagley, said his client’s actions caused harm to her husband and other members of her family that will likely never be repaired.

He also said Ms Kindred had voluntarily sought counseling for depression, anxiety and marital issues, but none of that was an excuse for carrying out her actions.

Kindred’s counselor believes the incident was an isolated incident and Kindred does not pose a threat to society.
