Community authorities in Tennessee are investigating after a trailer loaded with Bibles was intentionally set on fire in front of a church on Easter Sunday.

Around 6 a.m. Sunday, Mount Juliet Police and Fire Departments quickly responded to a trailer fire at an intersection blocking the entrance to Global Vision Church.

The church’s pastor, Greg Locke, said in a statement posted on Facebook that the church’s surveillance cameras captured the man allegedly falling from the trailer before setting it on fire.

“There was a woman who drove all night to go to our church. She was in the parking lot and we were able to get the officers here right away, but the first time I got back… “I woke up in the morning and it was quite a sight coming from Israel,” Pastor Locke wrote.

Hundreds of people expressed their support for the church on social media, allowing the church to proceed with Easter services without interruption.

One user wrote, “The evil in the world is terrifying. I’m so thankful that no one was hurt and no damage was done to the church. May our Lord touch the hearts of those who did this.” ” he wrote.
