Rep. Madeline Dean (D-Pennsylvania) said Friday on CNN’s “News Central” that former President Donald Trump “will be a useful fool” for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Dean said: “I can’t think of anything more clear when we’re talking about this very important topic. Mr. Netanyahu needs back what I believe to be a useful idiot for people like Mr. Netanyahu. I think they’ve been waiting for days because they want to.”
She added: Consider that, at the end of the day, Prime Minister Netanyahu has not been honest about how he wants to wage this war. He said they could instead be more targeted and strategic, dropping 2,000-pound dam bombs that destroyed entire villages, entire buildings, and neighborhoods. Prime Minister Netanyahu does not want a two-state solution. The same goes for Mr. Trump. We, the world, the Palestinian people, and the Israeli people will be better off if a new vote finally decides whether Mr. Netanyahu should continue in office. ”
Dean concluded. Mr. Trump will be a useful fool for Mr. Netanyahu in his failure to conduct this war, in what I think is a failed manner. Israel has the right to defend itself, and has rights and obligations. It’s security, it’s borders. Jews around the world have a right to this homeland. But at the same time, we must uplift the Palestinian homeland. Just as Mr. Netanyahu is not, Mr. Trump is unlikely to be anywhere near that. Mr. Biden is a world leader who can lead us toward a two-state solution and a more peaceful region. ”
