A man was stabbed outside a New York City hotel that serves as an immigrant shelter.
Police said the victim was stabbed in the chest and forearm by another man during a fight outside the Watson Hotel on West 57th Street.
The man was privately transported to Mount Sinai West Hospital in stable condition, police said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
The Watson, a three-star hotel in Hell’s Kitchen, was renovated to house migrants as tens of thousands poured into the city.
For a while, many migrants lived in tents outside the hotel until it was full.
The hotel was the scene of a tense standoff last year with migrants who refused to leave the hotel for new living arrangements the city had set up for them at a Brooklyn cruise terminal.
It is unclear whether the victims or assailants were immigrants or lived at the hotel.
