“I am not the defendant in this case. The defendant in this case is former President Donald J. Trump. So what does he do? He launches an attack. Gag order by judge He continues to do what he wants to do despite the restrictions placed on him,” Cohen said.

“He’ll say whatever he wants to say. He’s violating the gag order. And like a petulant child, there doesn’t seem to be any repercussions. He’s legally calling me a scumbag. I just posted what I was calling it,” he continued. “And of course he attacked Stormy Daniels as well. That’s called witness intimidation and obstruction of justice.”

Mr. Cohen replied: Post from President Trump On Wednesday, he called Daniels and Cohen “two despicable people who have done great damage to our country with their lies and false reporting!”

Daniels and Cohen are at the center of a lawsuit against Trump in which Trump allegedly illegally falsified business records to repay Cohen, who paid Daniels to cover up allegations of an affair before the 2016 presidential election. He is scheduled to be a witness.

Even after receiving the gag order, President Trump lashed out at the New York judge, the judge’s daughter, and others involved in the case, claiming it was unfair for others to be able to “talk” about him.

Mr. Cohen told Politico that he did not have the “right” to ask Judge Juan Marchan to enforce the gag order, but that Mr. Marchand and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) were “particularly in the interest of safety, “I think there should be restrictions on the president.” When this case begins on Monday, it will proceed in a respectful manner and without endangering witnesses, including myself. ”

The trial is scheduled to begin Monday, but Cohen is not expected to testify for some time. He said his role is more of a “cleanup” as he is “kind of like a No. 4 or No. 5 hitter” in the lineup.
