Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) exclusively told Breitbart News on Monday afternoon that the trial Democrats are dragging former President Donald Trump into in New York is likely to turn more Black voters into Democrats. The party and Trump have said they are only moving them away from (such as President Joe Biden) and toward the Republican Party.
“When you look at the nearly 75% increase in Black men who want to support President Trump, there’s no question that it’s not a marginal increase,” said Detective Alvin Bragg, District Attorney. Scott spoke to Breitbart News as President Trump sat in a New York courtroom facing charges. “That’s a big step in the right direction. Why? Because the Democratic power bastion is saying, ‘This is unfair. I want a fair America. If they’ll do it to him, they’ll do it to me.’ This is because they are being defeated by people who say, “I will give you something.” We’re seeing this in the black community, especially black men, and frankly, black women have gone from 2.5 to 3 percent to 11 percent. We’re talking about her 300% improvement. This is not just because we want a strong, strong, and fair judicial system, but when we ask the age-old question, “Are we better off under four years of a Trump administration or are we better off under four years of Biden?” That’s true. ?’ The answer is clearly economically advantageous under the Trump administration. Our country is better off in terms of safety under the Trump administration. Fentanyl is ravaging communities, but it’s better under Trump. There is no statistic that matters to people – blacks, whites, Asians, Hispanics, women, men – that says they are any worse off under the Trump administration than under the Biden administration. ”
The first day of Trump’s trial was Monday, when the jury selection process began. No jurors were selected Monday, but at least 50 potential jurors were disqualified. Trump was in a New York courtroom all day Monday to begin the process, and Scott, the former president’s running mate, said in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News that if Trump were president, he would He said it would not have happened. He’s not running for president. Scott also compared this to a justice system that targets black men because of the color of their skin.

“The easy way to understand what’s going on is that if he wasn’t running for president, he wouldn’t be on trial,” Scott said. “That’s why I started with election engineering. Frankly, the facts of this case, the expiration of this lawsuit, the legal challenge, is itself something we should all reflect on. I like you. Who would want a judicial system that chooses who to pursue based on who they like or what office they’re running for? Imagine if this wasn’t a red-party Republican versus blue-party issue? Imagine this was a racial issue, where the legal system would go after black people because of the color of their skin and because they represent hope in America. The easiest way to understand how bad this would be if it weren’t for the bias built into the system in New York, especially against President Trump.”
Scott said he believes what Democrats are doing by encouraging this (which Biden himself clearly supports) amounts to “election engineering.”
“I think of this as election engineering,” Scott said. “They are literally trying to get President Trump the outcome they want by keeping him out of the campaign. Frankly, this is an attack on American justice.”
Scott added that he did not believe Trump would receive an impartial jury.
Asked whether the final jury chosen would be fair, Scott said, “The simple answer is no.” “I don’t believe it. Frankly, I don’t think the prosecutor, Mr. Bragg, is looking for a fair trial. He’s not looking for justice. He’s subverting justice in order to keep his blinders on.” They’re not looking for a goddess. They’ve been prejudiced throughout this whole process, so the only hope is that justice will be served.”

Scott also refused to rule on a motion by Trump’s lawyers that Trump should be allowed to attend his son Barron Trump’s high school graduation in May rather than sit in a New York courtroom. He blamed Judge Juan Machan for doing so.
“Preventing a father from attending his son’s graduation is unprecedented, unbelievable and undeniable. It’s simply wrong, ridiculous and un-American,” Scott said. Stated. “Everything is already messed up, in my opinion, because there’s nothing there, but think about what they’re going to do. They’re not going to do a fair and sensible process. They are trying to punish him not through the legal system, but by using the legal system as a sledgehammer against him and his family.”

Mr. Scott also rejected a series of polls from establishment media that suggested Mr. Trump’s approval ratings would decline if he was convicted, saying those polls were wrong.
Asked about the poll, Scott said, “First of all, I think the next president of the United States, the 47th president of the United States, is Donald Trump.” “Second, why would that be? Because there would be a coalition of new voters joining the party and the ability to retain current voters. So, third, why would that be? Because people are tired of being fed up, and so the result of this system of absolute injustice, run by Joe Biden and used against his political opponents, is actually backfiring for the Democratic Party and the elites. It’s going to come out. This is part of it.”
