The father of Christian singer Mandisa, who died suddenly this month, has provided new insight into his daughter’s tragic end.

During the memorial service, Mandisa’s father, John Hundley, spoke with a detective about what he believed happened to his daughter, and the investigator said he “didn’t disagree with my opinion.”
“This is what I think happened,” Hundley began.
“Mandisa collapsed in her bedroom. They found her on the floor,” he explained. “If you look at the back of her bed, she was lying on her left side. That’s obviously where she was lying, there were some large rugs there, some clothes. I found her phone on this nightstand on the right side of the bed, right in front of the bed. Mandisa went around the bed and got the phone to call for help. There was no way.”

An emotional Mr Hundley then shut down speculation about Mandisa’s death and offered insight into her health in the months leading up to her death.
“She never hurt herself,” he said. “As she said, Mandisa loved the Lord and the Lord loved Mandisa.
“One thing you may not have known: She told me a while back that she had contracted COVID-19 and was weakening trying to get through it. , she was trying to push through,” he explained.
Hundley began his remarks by saying police would release more details about Mandisa’s death in the coming weeks.
