President Trump: “This shouldn’t have happened”
Former President Trump told “Hannity” that President Biden needs to “do something” and “step up” amid anti-Israel protests on college campuses across the country.
Former President Trump on Tuesday denounced an anti-Israel crowd at Columbia University that was starting to feel its power after New York City police arrested him after getting permission from administrators to attend a demonstration.
President Trump also took offense at some Jewish politicians who were not at the forefront of condemning protests and threats against Jews on campus.
“I’m watching Jewish politicians abandon Israel. I’ve seen it, you’ve seen it,” he told the Fox News host. Sean Hannity.
“Where is Schumer? Why isn’t Schumer speaking out? He’s always been in the lead. I think it’s because he’s looking at the votes. And he’s probably more I think you’re looking at the votes of [those that] He represents Israel,” President Trump said of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D.N.Y.

Schumer is the highest-ranking Jewish official in the United States.
Earlier this month, anti-Israel protesters stormed Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn, near the congressman’s home, and more than 200 people were reportedly arrested.
When President Trump accused some Jewish Democrats in March of hating Israel, Schumer fired back at the “hateful rant” and said, “The relationship between the United States and Israel will continue for generations to come.” “We are working on a bipartisan basis to ensure that it is maintained.”
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), another Jewish Democrat and frequent defender of Trump, responded to the accusations at the time, saying, “Fortunately, Donald Trump has never told me how to be Jewish.” I don’t know any Jews who would ask for advice.”
On Tuesday, Trump also called out President Biden, who thought Hannity might be “hiding” in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, after the White House put the “lid back on” in the evening.

Trump contrasted his swift action against ISIS with Biden’s more modest approach to anti-Israel protesters and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
“When you have a very violent and hateful attack like the one on October 7th, you have to wipe it out. You have to wipe out the cancer and you have to let it go. I have to.” [the Israelis] Do your job,” he said.
“America has to be courageous, America has to speak out. No one knows what position America is in right now. I don’t think Biden is on Israel’s side, and he is We have made a grave mistake and must clean it up.” This is the horror we witnessed on October 7th. ”
President Trump said he was appalled by statements made by student protesters about Israelis and Palestinians, including claims that the October 7 massacre never happened.
“When you have people who are protesting and they deny that October 7th happened, I really believe that they are brainwashed or in some ways brainwashed, but , they say, ‘Nothing like this happened,’ and, you know, ‘We want Israel back.’
“The fact is, we have to get Israel back to where it belongs because what’s happening in Israel right now is also really unsustainable. We have to get Israel to finish the war on terror. This is scary, but they have to do it.” And they have to do it quickly, and we have to restore order. ”
President Trump said embattled Columbia University President Nemat Minoush Shafik should be “ashamed” for causing the university to fall into turmoil.
