Princess Charlotte is 9 years old!
Duchess Kate and Prince William celebrated her only daughter’s milestone moment on Thursday by sharing a new photo of her. Via joint Instagram account.
The birthday girl smiled at the camera while leaning against the bushes. She wore a navy sweater and maroon cardigan with a denim skirt and tights.
The never-before-seen photo was released a week after the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a shot on Prince Louis’ sixth birthday.
Ms Middleton, 42, took the photo herself of her youngest child smiling on a picnic blanket.
She and Prince William, 41, are also parents to 10-year-old Prince George, who celebrates his birthday in July.
Middleton has been taking photos of children on their birthdays for years.
Last year, Charlotte showed off her missing tooth in a birthday portrait. It became a hot topic that she resembled William in 2022.
This little one has also been posing in the grass in floral dresses for years.
Notably, in the heavily edited family photo released on Mother’s Day in March, Middleton was not behind the camera, but she was in front of it. Apologize via X Photoshop for work.
Middleton writes: “Like many amateur photographers, I also experiment with editing from time to time. I would like to apologize for any confusion the family photo I shared yesterday may have caused.”
More must-see royal coverage:
Later, as conspiracy theories about her whereabouts began to spread, Middleton opened up about her recent health issues.
The royal was diagnosed with cancer in January when he underwent abdominal surgery.
Ms Middleton, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy, explained in her announcement video that she had delayed sharing the news so George, Charlotte and Louis could “process” the news in an “appropriate” way.
She explained, “As I told them, I get better and stronger every day by focusing on things that help heal my mind, body, and spirit.”
