Anti-Israel demonstrators projected President Joe Biden’s face onto an American flag hanging on a building behind the encampment at George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, DC.
An American flag flown by the university displayed Biden’s face with the words “Massacre Joe” written on it. Hang-up Friday afternoon from Risner Hall, an academic building located behind the encampment.

The voices of protesters could be heard at the encampment. chanting“Long live the intifada,” Biden’s face was displayed on the flag.

The protesters in the camp also heard The university’s U-yard was renamed “Shahada Square.”
“We reject the conditions that our imperialist, colonialist and colonialist overlords have chosen for us,” a speaker was heard saying. “We give ourselves a name to honor our martyrs. From today onwards, this is Shahada Square.”

The anti-Israel encampment was set up at GWU on April 25th, and is one of many protests and encampments that have occurred on college and university campuses in support of the first encampment set up at Columbia University on April 17th. There is one.
The day after the first camp was set up at Columbia University, several students were suspended and hundreds of protesters were arrested.
While Columbia University cleared the first encampment, another encampment formed and remained until New York City police raided the university hours after protesters took over Hamilton Hall.
Protesters at the GWU encampment defaced the statue of George Washington by, among other things, writing the words “Global Warmongeering University” on the statue’s pedestal and the top half of the plaque.
A Palestinian flag is also displayed behind the statue.
Protesters participating in various encampments and protests face withdrawal from Israeli companies, severing academic ties with Israeli educational institutions, cancellation of student travel to Israel, and criminal charges and disciplinary action. He has made various demands, including a full amnesty for the protesters. Action and ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas.
