6 Gang Members Arrested In Connection To Joe Flores’ Murder

Six people have been arrested in connection with the September 2022 shooting that claimed the life of innocent bystander Joe Flores near a Buffalo Wild Wings in Nampa, Idaho.

The reported gang members were taken into custody by Nampa Police Department investigators on various charges related to Flores’ murder in 2022.

According to police, the six men arrested are members of the gang involved in the scuffle at the time of the murder. The arrests followed a two-year investigation.

“This investigation has been ongoing since day one. The work that goes on behind the scenes has been non-stop and has clearly paid off in the form of a solid case and multiple arrests,” said Chief Joe Huff. said in a news release. “Although some criticized the Nampa PD in this investigation, the detectives’ steady efforts yielded great results. In the end, each unit of the Nampa Police Department played a role in keeping these gang members behind bars. I am proud of the dedication and teamwork of my colleagues and the support of our law enforcement partners at the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Caldwell Police Department, Idaho Department of Corrections, and the Canyon County Prosecutor’s Office. I am grateful.”

The men currently in Nampa police custody are as follows:

  • Brian G. Moreno, 23, pick-up

Aiding and abetting first-degree murder by gang enhancement.

In September 2022, Flores was a bystander in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 2100 block of North Cassia Street when he was fatally shot.

Nampa police say the murder investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
