Americans aren’t buying Bidennomics.
An ABC News/Ipsos poll finds more Americans trust Donald Trump than Joe Biden on the economy. Forty-six percent said they had more confidence in Trump, compared to just 32% who said they had more confidence in Biden. 21% say they don’t trust either. When it comes to inflation, 40% said they had more confidence in Trump and 30% said they had more confidence in Biden. 25% said they did not trust either candidate.
More voters said they felt better under President Donald Trump. Forty-three percent said they were worse off under the Biden administration, 40% said their finances were the same, and just 16% said their finances were better.
More Americans say they trust former President Trump than President Biden on the economy and inflation, a new poll finds.
According to an ABC News/Ipsos poll, the economy and inflation are among the top issues for Americans in this presidential election, with more Americans saying they trust Trump more than Biden on this issue. It turned out that there were more. 88% of Americans surveyed said the economy was important to them when deciding who to vote for, and 85% said the same was true about inflation.
Forty-six percent of Americans surveyed said they trust Trump on the economy, and 32% said the same about Biden. Another 21% said they did not trust either of the presidential front-runners on this issue.
Additionally, 44% of Americans surveyed said they trust President Trump to tackle inflation, compared to 30% for Biden. Another 25% said they did not trust either candidate on this issue.
The poll also found that more people said they were less financially well off under Biden than said they were better off under the Biden administration. Forty-three percent of those surveyed said their economic situation was not much better since Biden became president, 40% said it was about the same and 16% said it was better.
