Victims of the Maui fires continue to be evacuated while Ukraine collects billions of dollars from the US government.
Fortunately, last year they received a one-time grant of $700 from the government to help them get back on their feet. Joe Rogan considers a one-time payment of $700 to be the equivalent of 700 cups of ramen.
“Who said yes to that? Who allowed that to happen?” Logan asked Tulsi Gabbard, adding, “At the same time, we released this figure that was accidentally sending $6 billion to Ukraine.” .
“Well, they said, ‘Oh, we lost track of this $6 billion and it was caught because of an accounting error, so we can send it to Ukraine,'” Gabbard said.
“I particularly remember when the fires had just started. The White House called in the FEMA administrator to speak to the White House press corps, and someone said, ‘FEMA, who are you? What are you actually doing for these people?” ”
“The director stood there with a straight face and proudly said, ‘We’ve given a one-time $700 payment to everyone who has been affected by or has been evacuated by this fire.’ That was her big announcement,” Gabbard explains.
“So we completely abandoned the people of Hawaii,” commented an upset Dave Rubin.
