A suspect who was allegedly seen on video running a man over with his car twice, straddling him, kissing him and fatally stabbing him multiple times in broad daylight has been charged with murder.
Obtained court documents mention Karon Fisher, 20. by KTRKTV Although he is male, Houston police refer to him as “she.” Police said in a press release that the murder occurred on May 3 at approximately 7:50 p.m.
Neighbor footage obtained by KTRK appears to show a deliberate attack on the man, who was on his way to pick up his mail.
The victim, identified in the report as 64-year-old Steven Anderson, was screaming as he turned to see a white car barreling toward him, causing the car to hit him, flipping around and hitting him again. A collision was seen. The suspect, dressed all in black, then appeared with a knife, flipped Anderson over, straddled her and kissed her before stabbing her nine times.

The suspect then tried unsuccessfully to get into another vehicle, jumped over the victim’s body and drove away.
Officers were called to the scene regarding a person who failed to stop and assist another person. Officers found Anderson already dead with multiple stab wounds.

Witnesses led officers to the suspect at a nearby location. She was taken into custody and questioned by detectives before she was charged and taken to the Harris County Jail.
Local television station KPRC said police were not aware of the relationship between the suspect and the victim.

Fisher was reportedly placed on community supervision for evading arrest in 2023, according to KTRK. She was also charged with prostitution in 2021, but her case was dismissed.
Fisher’s next court appearance is May 24, according to online jail records. Her bail is set at $2.125 million.
