A mother of three has died after being attacked by a pack of “aggressive” dogs in Georgia. Children were also injured in a dog attack just days before Mother’s Day, with one child seriously injured in the tragic incident. Thanks to the intervention of an “angel”, the children survived a ferocious animal attack.
A mother and her children were attacked by a pack of dogs in Quitman, Georgia on Thursday. The family was reportedly at the bus stop around 4:45 p.m. when the animal attack occurred.
Brooks County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a complaint of multiple minors being attacked by a dog.

Deputies found Courtney Williams, 35, dead in a nearby yard.
One of the children was allegedly attacked by a dog and alerted the man driving the car.
The good Samaritan “fought off the dogs and managed to help get the children into the truck,” Williams’ sister-in-law Crystal Cox wrote. Facebook The post included graphic photos of the horrific injuries sustained by one of the children.
The man rushed the children to a local hospital.
Mr Cox said the unknown man was a “blessing” and an “angel” to the family.
“If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know what the outcome would have been,” she wrote.
Ms Cox said her two children were “fine” but “shaking and still coping”.

Another neighbor told the news outlet he had been complaining about the lack of animal control for some time.
“People are abandoning dogs in the county and no one can get help because we don’t have animal control in the county. We’re praying for this woman’s family. This is so sad.” said.
Authorities have not identified the breed of dog involved in the attack.
The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy will be performed by the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office to determine Williams’ cause of death.
