State Sen. John McGuire (R-Va.), who is running for Rep. Bob Good’s (R-Va.) seat, says he believes former President Donald Trump can win in Virginia. He said this while appearing on the show. Breitbart News Saturdaynoted that Trump is “the soul of the Republican Party.”
McGuire said he spoke with President Trump recently at Mar-a-Lago, and that the former president expressed confidence that “we will win Virginia.”
“And as I campaign in the 5th Congressional District and across Virginia, I think there’s a lot of excitement about Mr. Trump in Virginia. “I believe we have support everywhere we go,” McGuire said. He said, citing Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, as a prime example.
“And a great example…he set a record for political rallies in New Jersey with over 100,000 people in attendance. So I’m excited for Trump to win Virginia and return to the White House.” “And it’s definitely not possible to survive another four years with Biden’s last American policy, which will only crush people across the country,” he explained. “We are fighting for the soul of the Republican Party.”
“And President Trump is the soul of the Republican Party,” he said, explaining that he wasn’t even interested in politics “until Trump came down the escalator.”

“Then I listened to him and said he meant what he said. He was the first person I ever wrote a check for. I wrote a check for $1,000. “And I’ve been with him since he came down the escalator,” he continued, noting that both he and Trump “have built a coalition across the state of Virginia.”
“President Trump has built a huge coalition that crosses all factions of the party. And that’s what we need, and we’re going to have some wins here and there, and the squid in the middle of it. I think the independents, whatever you want to call them, are going to take a big swing against us. Here’s why. He described President Biden’s policies as the “best advertisement” for why the United States needs Trump back.
“So think about the small farmers who are living on a marginal salary. The gas is up. The bread is up. The milk is up. It’s hard to pay the bills and they’re struggling to survive. So the best advertisement for Trump to win is Biden’s last American policy, and we can’t do that for another four years. So we’re hearing voices like that across the district. I’m hearing people who didn’t support Trump, who never supported Trump, say they now support Trump, especially minorities.” and concluded that Virginia is “having an impact.”
