President Joe Biden’s aides have corrected nine gaffes in a transcript of his speech on Sunday, raising concerns about his suitability as president.
White House issued A Daily Caller analysis found that there were a total of 148 amendments to his speaking record between January and April.
Biden, described by special counsel Robert Hur as “an elderly man with a poor memory,” made the mistakes and gaffes during a speech Sunday at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Detroit, Michigan.
Immediately after the speech, Biden’s aides began scouring the transcripts to omit his remarks about the Capitol protesters being “anti-orthodox.” They also changed Biden’s claim that he was vice president during the coronavirus pandemic. The transcript released Monday is full of crossed-out mistakes and corrections to comments in parentheses.

Polls show Americans have doubts about Biden’s leadership.
- A Harvard-Harris University poll recently found that about a third of Democrats doubt Mr. Biden’s mental health.
- Another poll revealed that 82 percent of Americans are concerned about the physical and mental health of women.
- Only about a third of voters say Biden is physically and mentally fit to serve a second term, according to Quinnipiac.

These health issues may be why he has trouble staying upright. Biden has stumbled, fallen or stumbled at least five times during his presidency.
