Toto Recall: Maher’s ‘View’ to a kill; mob movie triggers AMC

Bill Maher visited “The View” this week, but he didn’t tell producers he was bringing a wrecking ball.

The comic “Real Time with Bill Maher” votes the same way as the host of “The View,” but he’s honest enough to criticize fellow progressives when necessary.

‘[‘Goodfellas’] Contains linguistic and cultural stereotypes that are inconsistent with today’s standards of inclusivity and tolerance and may be offensive to some viewers. ”

And more recently, his signature show and “Club Random with Bill Maher” podcast have become weekly broadcasts.

The divas of “The View” do no such thing, which is why Maher’s wrecking ball tore the set like tissue paper this week.

You’ll have to watch the entire segment to appreciate it, even though he keeps repeating the cliché about the far right being a “greater threat” than the far left. This is the kill shot that will be given to Whoopi, Joy, and his friends. Nightmares…assuming they can feel shame.

Behar admitted he was holding back on his attacks. As for President Joe Biden, he has expressed opposition out of concern that viewers will support President Trump instead.

Maher’s response?

“You lose all trust [with that approach] “…The connection I have with the audience is always, ‘I don’t hold back,'” Maher said.

Have some sniffles ready immediately!

Merchant said in an interview with The Guardian today The right is on the right side of the battle for free speechThe journalist noted that Merchant had considered the issue very carefully before announcing his conclusions.

“It seems to me that there’s always surveillance in comedy, there’s guardrails. The difference is that before it felt like the right was watching. Now it’s the left watching, and the right is watching the speech. I feel like I’m allowing myself to be the arbiter of freedom.”

His next cocktail party might turn out to be much more unpleasant than he expected.

Except for the real Ivana Trump, who died in 2022. I was told that this hadn’t happened before.. defiantly. Is that all there is to “Believe All Woman”?

The Trump campaign has now hired lawyers, which means the film may not be released before Election Day.

Is “Goodfellas” really that bad?

AMC isn’t just a place to show “shady” movie classics like “Men at Work,” starring the Estevez brothers: The cable network also adds “trigger warnings” to Oscar-winning movies like “Goodfellas.”

The popular gangster movie comes with a warning that reads: “This film contains language and cultural stereotypes that do not meet today’s standards of inclusion and tolerance and may offend some viewers.”

Wait until you see The Godfather trilogy.

Even Judi Dench Trigger warning occurred About art.

“If you’re that sensitive, you shouldn’t go to the theatre,” the acting star said.

Outspoken podcaster Adam Carolla had the best response to this nonsense on his eponymous show.

He said the inundation of warnings in our culture, from stickers on car visors to signs advising the six-foot rule during the pandemic, has led us to ignore them all together.

“How many of you are out there looking at this warning and thinking, ‘I’ve already eaten my popcorn and settled in for an evening of Goodfellas, but now I realize there’s an ugly stereotype here and I need to watch Nick at Nite…Honey, put the wine back in the bottle. I’m off!'”
