of Mega Millions The lottery industry announced the winner of an estimated $560 million jackpot from Tuesday night’s drawing. The winning ticket was purchased in Illinois.
Tuesday night’s winning numbers were 19, 37, 40, 63, 69 and a gold Mega Ball of 17. The Megaplier was 3x.
This was the ninth largest prize in the game’s history.
In addition to the jackpot, two players from California and Maryland won $1 million by matching all five white balls. If they had paid an additional dollar to purchase the Megaplier, the second prize would have been worth $3 million.

The $560 million grand prize includes a one-time Cash Payment Option $264 million.
Winners typically choose the cash prize rather than a Mega Millions annuity, which is paid as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments.
According to the game, your odds of winning the grand prize are 1 in 302,575,350.
Before Tuesday’s drawing, the last Mega Millions jackpot was won on March 26, when a New Jersey player matched all six numbers to win $1.13 billion, the fifth-largest jackpot in the game’s history.
A record-breaking Mega Millions jackpot of $1.602 billion was won in Florida on August 8, 2023. The prize is the third-largest prize ever won on a single ticket in the world, behind the $2.04 billion and $1.765 billion Powerball prizes won in California in the past two years.

The next drawing will take place on Friday, with players hoping to win an estimated $20 million grand prize and $9.4 million in cash options.
Mega Millions is played in 45 states, Washington DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Buying tickets The draw will be at 9:45pm on the evening of the drawing.
Drawings take place every Tuesday and Friday at 11pm ET in Atlanta, Georgia.
