Novak Djokovic provides surgery update after French Open injury, vows to return ‘as soon as possible’

“I had to make the difficult decision recently after tearing my meniscus during my last game. I’m still taking it all in, but I’m happy to report that the surgery went well,” he said in a post on X.

“I will do my best to stay healthy and in shape so I can return to the court as soon as possible. My love for this sport is strong and my desire to compete at the highest level is what drives me.”
