President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has reportedly released Tajikistani migrants with ties to the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization into the United States.

Tajik immigrants with ties to ISIS post The migrant was reportedly wiretapped by the FBI and heard discussing a bomb. After crossing the southern border, the migrant was reportedly released onto U.S. soil and ordered to appear before a federal immigration judge in 2025.
The group of foreigners have been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and are being charged with immigration violations, but details of how and when they arrived in the United States are unclear, CBS News reported. Reports:
A source familiar with the operation said the suspects underwent law enforcement vetting upon entering the US and had no indications at the time of any ties to ISIS. Law enforcement agencies then became concerned about their presence on U.S. soil and took action, officials said. [Emphasis added]

The ISIS-linked Tajikistani migrant is just the latest to be released into American communities by the Biden administration despite his terrorism ties.
In April, it was revealed that Mohammed Kalwin, 48, an Afghan national and member of the terrorist organization Hizb-e-Islami, had been released on US soil twice after first crossing the border in March 2023.

Similarly, last October, a migrant wanted on terrorism charges in his native Senegal was released on U.S. soil and later arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents just one block from One World Trade Center in New York City.
In April 2022, the Biden administration’s Department of Homeland Security ultimately released Isnardo Garcia Amado, who was on the FBI’s terrorist watch list, into the United States and allowed him to board a domestic commercial flight from Palm Springs, California, to Tampa, Florida.
Just months after Biden took office as president in January 2021, the Department of Homeland Security released onto U.S. soil migrants who were later charged with terrorism financing in their native Venezuela.
Since the start of fiscal year 2021, almost 400 immigrants An individual on a terrorist watch list was apprehended at the border while attempting to enter the United States.
