Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla is gearing up for Friday’s championship parade, the very normal way he’ll stroll through Boston with the Larry O’Brien trophy — and let anyone touch it.

After the C’s won the NBA title, Game Five Mazzulla, who was in the team’s win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, was spotted walking with Larry O’Brien in Boston’s North End neighborhood on Wednesday. “Coach, how much do you like North End?” a bystander yelled at Mazzulla.

“I like the city of Boston,” the captain replied.

I’m not a Celtics fan, as you all know, but I like this 2024 and this version of Joe Mazzulla, and there’s a lot of “cool” stuff surrounding these guys right now.
