Courtroom gasps after illegal alien apparently admits he filmed himself raping 13-year-old in NYC park

Those gathered in a New York City courtroom let out audible roars of surprise as prosecutors read from the transcript showing the suspect admitted to police that he filmed himself raping a 13-year-old girl. New York Post I reported it.

Last Thursday afternoon, suspect Christian Giovanni Inga Landi, a 25-year-old Ecuadorian national who entered the United States illegally in June 2021, reportedly encountered two 13-year-old boys and girls playing together in Quixena Park in Queens. As previously reported by The Blaze News, Inga Landi then pulled out a “large machete-style knife” and led the pair to a secluded, wooded area of the park, where he allegedly tied up both victims and raped the girl.

At the scene, police recovered a water bottle with DNA that matched a DNA sample Inga Lundy submitted in her 2021 immigration case.

Five days later, Inga Landi was made a citizen’s arrest and handed over to the police. Not only did she match the photo of the suspect provided by the police, but, as the victim stated, she also had braces and a boar tattoo on her chest.

Inga Lundy has been charged with 11 counts in total, most of which are felonies, including rape, predatory sexual assault, robbery and kidnapping.

When he appeared in court for arraignment Wednesday, his face still scratched, it didn’t take much effort for prosecutors to convince Judge Joan Watters to deny bail.

All they needed to do was read the video recording of Inga Lundy speaking with investigators, and the details of that recording, included in the Washington Post report, are chilling.

During the conversation, Inga Lundy is recorded not only admitting to the crime to police, but bragging about filming it. “I was nervous at first, but then I calmed down and filmed it,” she is said in the video, a confession that drew “a sigh from the audience,” according to The Washington Post.

He also appears to have provided police with other details about the incident from his perspective, including allegations that he witnessed the victims engaging in “sexual intercourse” and that he also stuffed a banana in the girl’s mouth before the assault, ostensibly to silence her.

“Then she went to buy drugs,” Inga Lundy added, according to the transcript read by the prosecutor.

At the scene, police found a water bottle with DNA that matched a DNA sample Inga Lundy submitted in her immigration case in 2021. The following year, a judge determined she had entered the US illegally and ordered her deported. It’s unclear whether she followed that instruction.

Assistant District Attorney Casey Esposito urged Judge Watters to deny bail to Inga Lundy, given his history of border violations and the ongoing charges of heinous kidnapping and sexual assault. “The brazen and brutal nature of this defendant’s actions demonstrates an individual who has no respect for the law and no regard for anyone but himself. He will not be returning to court,” Esposito argued.

Judge Watters quickly agreed, but Lundy’s public defender, Lisa Saltzman, did not request bail during the hearing. Instead, she asked for Lundy to receive medical treatment, which Judge Watters allowed.

Inga Lundy is due to appear in court again on July 1. The investigation into the footage of the alleged rape continues.
