Large groups of pro-Israel counterprotesters demonstrated outside a synagogue and a Jewish school that were targeted by a mob of pro-Palestinian activists in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The clashes began early Thursday when pro-Palestinian activists showed up at a school in Valley Village, a predominantly Jewish neighborhood in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley.

A large group of pro-Israel counter-demonstrators then gathered at the school and confronted the pro-Palestinian activists, and the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) arrived and separated the two groups onto opposite sides of the street.
Local Fox affiliate KTTV-11 covered the dueling protests. Focus on it It is unclear why the synagogue and school were targeted.
The United States is experiencing a growing wave of anti-Semitism linked to anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian protests.
