Judge Merchan Delays Trump Sentencing Until September

Judge Juan Marchand, who is presiding over former President Donald Trump’s business records trial, has postponed the former president’s sentencing until September.

Trump was originally scheduled to be sentenced on July 11, four days before the Republican National Convention, which will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on July 15.

The former president was convicted of 34 counts of first-degree falsifying business records in connection with payments he made to adult entertainment actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 presidential campaign.
