Jon Favreau, an adviser to former President Barack Obama who was part of a group often referred to as “the Obama Brothers” during his time in the White House, was at the Hollywood fundraiser and echoed similar sentiments following Clooney’s announcement.

“It wasn’t a surprise to us at the fundraiser,” Favreau told CNN. “I was there. Clooney was right, and everyone I spoke to at the fundraiser was thinking the same thing, except for the people who work for Joe Biden. At least they didn’t say that.”

Biden has said he has no plans to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race, and his campaign remains “full steam ahead,” a source told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Biden campaign and Clooney’s representatives for comment but did not receive a response.
