Trump Receives Tremendous Support After Assassination Attempt

Donald Trump has received a great deal of support from many politicians and celebrities following the assassination attempt.

One of the first politicians to speak out was House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), who posted a prayer for X shortly after the president was injured.

Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) offered support to law enforcement as investigations into the incident at the Trump rally begin.

“I have been monitoring the situation at President Trump’s rally in Butler and have reached out to state police to offer assistance,” Casey said in a statement to X. “Political violence is never acceptable and I hope former President Trump and all attendees are safe. Everyone in Butler should listen to what the police have to say.”

Former presidential candidate Nikki Haley (RSC) condemned political violence and offered prayers for Donald Trump.

“This should send chills down the spine of every freedom-loving American. Violence against a presidential candidate must never be normalized. We are praying for Donald Trump, the entire Trump family and all in attendance,” Haley wrote in a post on X.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy also posted on X, calling for unity in the wake of the attack.

“Now is the time for all Americans who love our country to turn away from division, renounce all violence and come together in prayer for President Trump and his family,” he said.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-Pennsylvania) condemned the political violence and said he had been briefed on the incident at a Donald Trump rally.

“Violence targeted at any political party or political leader is completely unacceptable,” Shapiro wrote on X.
