Saturday’s assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump was announced by Netflix’s Orange is the New Black star Lea DeLaria implored President Joe Biden to “blow him up.”
Lea DeLaria, the actress who plays Bing Boo in Netflix’s “Bing Boo” Orange is the New Blackcalled on Biden to literally and forcefully assassinate President Trump following the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity.
Ms DeLaria posted a video to her 1.1 million Instagram followers urging Mr Biden to “blow him up”, after appearing to later delete the post in which she called for the assassination of Mr Trump.
Gunfire broke out during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday, with at least one bullet apparently striking the 45th president in the ear, physically injuring him and forcing him to be rushed off the stage by the U.S. Secret Service.
Social media was flooded with images and videos showing the horrifying scene, with Trump’s face appearing to be bloodied.

Rep. Dan Meuser (R-Pennsylvania), who was sitting in the front row at a rally near Trump, said he heard eight to 10 gunshots during the assassination attempt, according to Fox News’ Chad Pergram.

Muether said he heard between eight and 10 gunshots and that multiple people in the crowd were possibly shot and injured.

Multiple people in the crowd may have been shot and felled, Meuser added, adding that the gunfire sounded like it was from a .22 or smaller caliber weapon.
