Ivanka Trump, daughter of former President Donald Trump, released a statement after shots rang out at a rally in Pennsylvania thanking everyone for their “love and prayers” for her father, adding that she loves him “now and always will.”
Shortly after he appeared on stage, shots were heard and footage showed Trump surrounded by Secret Service agents and bleeding from his ear and the side of his face.
“I thank you all for your love and prayers for my father and the victims of the senseless violence that occurred today in Butler, Pennsylvania,” the former president’s daughter wrote in the letter. post Regarding X. “I thank the Secret Service and all other law enforcement officials for their swift and decisive action today. I continue to pray for our country.”
“Dad, I love you now and always will,” Ivanka added.

Ivanka’s statement came after Trump released a statement on Truth Social revealing that he was “shot with a penetrating bullet” above the top of his right ear.
“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all law enforcement for their swift response to the shooting that occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania,” the former president said. Added“Most importantly, we would like to express our condolences to the family of the person who died at the rally, and to the family of another person who was seriously injured.”
