Donald Trump Jr. slammed an MSNBC reporter after she pressed him to answer a question about the separation of migrant families during his father’s presidency.
Trump Jr. stood with his brother Eric Trump and his wife Kimberly Guilfoyle as he was addressed by MSNBC reporter Jacob Soboroff.
“You couldn’t wait with the lies and nonsense.”
“I know immigration is important to you, and I’ve covered the family separation crisis extensively. Will a policy that intentionally separates 5,000 children from their parents continue?” the reporter asked.
“You mean the Obama administration?” Trump Jr. retorted.
“You know, they’re not doing that. Is there a second family separation policy?” Soboroff responded.
“MSDNC, so I expect nothing less from you, you clowns,” Trump Jr. responded.
“Even today, 48 hours later, you guys couldn’t wait,” he continued. “You guys couldn’t wait with your lies and nonsense, so get out of here.”

Before the argument, Trump Jr. defended his father’s record to Soboroff.
“What would that change look like,” Soboroff asked. “Your father was, I would even say, a divisive figure as a president. What would that look like in a second term?”
“I don’t think he’s a divisive person in any way. I think the media has created a division around him,” Trump Jr. responded.
“They lied about Russia and Russian collusion, they said he was a traitor, and they used every means to hunt him down,” he continued. “If the media really started to be an honest intermediary and talk about what he’s done, the prosperity he’s brought, the peace deals he’s signed all around the world, it would be a great benefit to all of our people, not the disaster that we’re experiencing right now.”
Also on Monday, the Trump campaign announced that the former president has chosen Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate.
