Biden Dropped Though she dropped out of the race after being defeated by Vice President Kamala Harris, politicians are wondering whether she will win back some of the black support from Trump.
“We don’t all relate to the color of our skin,” Jermaine, of Detroit, told Fox News. “It’s really about values and morals and how you see the world.”
Henry, a Battle Creek native, expressed outrage at the left’s discriminatory treatment of black people.
“No one is special because of their race,” he told the media. “You don’t have to treat us like some brand new creature, OK? You’re trying to make me feel like I’m more worthy than other people, but I’m being treated worse than other people. No. We’re just regular people.”
Austin, another black voter, said people and businesses have done better economically under Trump.
“It doesn’t matter what you look like. It doesn’t matter where you come from. Everybody wants to be successful,” he argued. “They want a chance at America’s future… And when the conservative movement shows them that’s where they’re going to find success, where do you think they’re going to go?”
Martin, a Grandville native, said Democrats take the Black vote for granted.
“The black vote has been with the Democratic Party for a long time, but I feel like Democrats have taken it for granted and underused it,” he told Fox News. “We’re not going to be taken over by a socialist agenda. We’re smart, we’re capable.”
Another man complained that Democrats “don’t want to come to poor neighborhoods and see what’s going on there.”
Chris, of Detroit, said Democrats “think we’re all bankrupt.”
“They think we need handouts, but we’re not. We’re hardworking people,” he said. “If they don’t have poor black voters, they don’t have black voters.”
“Trump is on everyone’s side,” Chris added.
