MUNICH — Thousands of Taylor Swift fans got free seats to a concert on a grassy hill near the Munich concert venue.
Swifties gathered for a second day on Sunday at Olympic Hill (Olympiaberg), one of the southern German city’s highest points.
This earned them a high status see a sold-out singer’s concert At the nearby Olympic Stadium.
On Saturday, they braved heat that reached 31 degrees Celsius (88 degrees Fahrenheit) to secure their spot just hours before the concert was to begin.
Police estimated that about 25,000 people gathered on the hill on Saturday, according to the DPAA news agency.
Fans returned on Sunday, and the grassy hill was once again packed with people so large that from afar it looked like an anthill.
Instead of blocking free admission, concert organizers handed out water and emergency blankets to people waiting to protect themselves from the sun, according to the DPA news agency.
Sunday’s concert will be Swift’s final show in Germany as part of her Erasus tour, after which she heads to the Polish capital, Warsaw, for three concerts this Thursday through Saturday.
