Radio host Charlaman the God said on CNN’s “OutFront” on Thursday that he thinks voters already know former President Donald Trump is a “bigot” and so the attacks on Vice President Kamala Harris are a distraction.
Charmagne said, “No, he doesn’t deserve the praise. I’ll be honest with you. I don’t care about this at all, and neither should you. No one in the media should care. Donald Trump has no new tricks up his sleeve. He focuses on identity, race and gender. He gets white Americans to believe that the demographic changes in this country are a threat to their way of life. And that the America they know will be doomed unless we go back to, maybe, the 1950s. It’s just a distraction.”
He continued, “Forget this whole debate about what is black and who is black. How do we put money in people’s pockets? How do we keep people safe? That’s what both candidates need to be talking about over the next 95 days.”
Charmagne added, “We all know Kamala Harris is black and Indian. We all know Donald Trump is a bigot and a divisive person. We don’t need the media regurgitating Trump’s greatest hits over and over again for the next 95 days. Donald Trump doesn’t have a real strategy for the VP at this point, so they’re going to try to weaponize her not having children by saying it’s a DEI hire. They’re going to question her blackness. Ignore it all.”
