Former President Donald Trump responded to Monday’s stock market crash by presenting voters with a clear choice in the November election.
“The stock market is crashing, employment numbers are terrible, we’re heading towards World War 3 and we have two of the most incompetent ‘leaders’ in history. This is not good!!!” he posted on Truth Social.
He later added, “Voters have a choice: Trump prosperity or Kamala’s downfall and a global depression in 2024. And not to mention the possibility of World War III if these very stupid people stay in power. Remember, Trump was right about everything!!!”
He also voiced his opinion on Instagram early Monday morning, posting:
The stock market crashed. I told you so!!! Kamala has no idea. Biden is fast asleep. It’s all because of the incompetent leadership of the US!
Major stock indexes fell sharply on Monday morning, reflecting growing concerns that the U.S. economy may be heading for a severe economic downturn, Breitbart News’ John Carney reports.
“Politics may be at play. Vice President Kamala Harris’ approval ratings are rising and some election forecasters are predicting she will narrowly win the November election. Markets rallied in the months when it looked like Trump was going to win,” Carney said.
President Trump posted early Monday morning:
Of course the market is falling hard. Kamala is even worse than Crooked Joe. The market will never accept a radical left wing lunatic who destroyed San Francisco and all of California. The next move is a Great Depression in 2024! You can’t game the market. Kamala crashes!!!
Trump also quoted Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick, who said:
“Japan is down 12%, India is down 6%. Germany is also down a lot. The US is really bad. This bodes well for world markets if Donald J. Trump is not in the White House. With Trump none of this happens. Kamala and the markets are incompatible. She will destroy the markets. She is in power now but look what’s happening. The fake media reports the polls are good for a week and the markets crash.” The legendary Howard Lutnick!
