The events to watch at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday, August 6

The gold medalist in the women’s platform diving final will be decided on Tuesday.

All eyes will be on American sensation Delaney Schnell, who won silver in the 10-meter platform synchro at the Tokyo Olympics and will be looking to improve on that record when the competition begins at 9 a.m. ET.

The U.S. women’s soccer team, seeking its fifth Olympic gold medal, will face Germany in the semifinals at 12 p.m. Eastern time.

It’s a jam-packed day of athletics events at the Stade de France.

The men’s 400m semifinal will begin at 1:35pm ET, followed by the women’s hammer throw final, women’s 400m hurdles semifinal, men’s long jump final, men’s 1500m final, women’s steeplechase final and women’s 200m final.

New Jersey’s Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone set a world record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 50.68 seconds at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials and will be looking to make history again in Paris.

The U.S. men’s basketball team will also face Brazil.
