Podcaster Joe Rogan on Thursday gave a stronger endorsement of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. than either major party candidate. The online influencer, known for dabbling in conspiracy theories, has become one of Kennedy’s most prominent supporters.
Logan said in a video podcast. “The Joe Rogan Experience” He believes both Democrats and Republicans are distorting democratic norms.
“That’s how they do it. That’s politics. The left and the right do it,” Logan said. “They gaslight you, they manipulate you, they push narratives. The only person who hasn’t done that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr.”
Logan added that he was a “fan” of Kennedy.
“He’s the only person who makes sense to me,” he said. “He’s the only one who doesn’t attack people, he attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more rational and intelligent. I mean, he’s an environmental lawyer, he worked on cleaning up the East River. He’s a decent guy.”
Both Kennedy and Rogan have been critical of vaccines, particularly the COVID-19 vaccine, and have spread conspiracy theories about their effectiveness.
Rogan’s show, a Spotify exclusive, has consistently been one of the most popular podcasts in the world, and he hosts long, wide-ranging interviews with a variety of guests, including comedians, athletes, scientists, and more.
According to a Hill/Decision Desk average of national polls, Kennedy’s approval rating has fallen since the early days of the campaign, dropping to below 4% in polls against former President Trump and Vice President Harris.
Rogan said last week that he believes Harris will beat Trump in November.
“I’m saying this because she can win. I’m not saying this because I think she can win or because I want her to. I’m just being honest. I know she will win,” he said.
Logan previously said he voted for Libertarian Party candidate Jo Jorgensen in 2020 after supporting Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the 2020 primary.
