Dr. Ben Carson says it’s “pretty clear” that Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (Democrat), are trying to deceive and lie to the American people to win the presidency. Breitbart News Saturday.
Carson said the Harris campaign and Democrats recognize that despite appearances, “they’re in a bad situation.”
“Kamala’s campaign and the Democratic Party know they’re in a tough spot, because there’s a reason why Kamala got so little support in the primaries when she ran for president. She dropped out because people found out who she was. So the lesson they’ve learned is to not let people know who you are,” Carson said, noting that Harris has not held a press conference or given interviews since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and picked her to take his place.
“Twenty days later, no interviews, no press conferences. She’s trying to lay low as much as possible, because as Mr. Trump said last night, she can’t do interviews without aides and a teleprompter and people are going to find out very soon what’s going on. So they’re going to keep the pressure on and they’re going to drag this out,” he said, explaining that the Trump campaign “has to come clean about Kamala and Waltz, what they believe, what they think, what they’re saying.”

“Don’t necessarily tell people what they said, but show them what they said. I think that’s a very powerful way to get the point across,” he continued, drawing a difference between Trump and Harris, saying the former president “speaks from the perspective of what she actually believes and who she actually is.”
“You only need all that stuff when you’re trying to make something match up. It’s like when you lie, you try to remember what you said before to make it match up. You don’t need to do that when you tell the truth,” he pointed out.
“So do you think the Kamala Harris and Tim Walz campaigns are trying to deceive the American people like they’re lying to win the presidency?” host Matthew Boyle asked. Carson said it was clear they were.
“It’s absolutely clear that they are trying to do that. They have done so in the past,” Carson said. “The very fact that they tried to hide Mr. Biden’s condition from the American people says all that is needed.”
“You can’t trust people who do that. How can we entrust the future of our country, our children, our grandchildren and generations to come to these people who have already proven that lying is second nature?” he said. “I don’t think so.”
