Cottonwood County Fair, Minnesota – A local small business owner slammed Democratic vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz as “the worst governor in Minnesota history.”
Diane Kruger, who owns a company that sells Scentsy products in Minnesota, detailed how she feels she has been negatively affected by Walz’s policies since he took office.
“He has ruined our state and I am angry and disgusted,” Krueger, who was operating a booth at the Cottonwood County Fair in Minnesota, told Fox News Digital. “Once he and the Democrats took control of the House, the Senate and the governor’s office, they completely ruined our state. We may now be more communist than California.”
Krueger said his company’s business is still recovering from the effects of policies implemented by Walz during the coronavirus pandemic.

“My business income dropped by at least 50% in 2020 during the pandemic because the Minnesota economy was shut down in March, meaning I couldn’t do any house parties, shows, or events,” Krueger said, “and I’m still not recovered from that.”

Krueger also said Gov. Walz has pushed “radical” policies in the state after expanding abortion rights and requiring school bathrooms to keep tampons in men’s restrooms for transgender people.

“Walz is the worst governor in the history of Minnesota. I don’t care what anybody says,” she said. “I’ve always called him Tyrant Timmy, or Dictator Walz. I’m not going to call him Governor Walz, because he’s not my governor.”
The Minnesota native added that she believes “we won’t have a country” if Walz is elected vice president in November.
Krueger went on to say that a Harris-Waltz administration would turn the United States “into a communist state within a year” and would be “a worst-case scenario from which we will probably never get our country back.”

Several Minnesota small business owners and residents who spoke with Fox News Digital recently echoed Krueger’s sentiments about Gov. Walz’s tenure in office. “I’ve spoken to a lot of businesses that have left Minnesota or that have expanded but not expanded within Minnesota,” Rep. Pete Stauber, D-Minn., 8th District, told Fox News Digital.
“He supported the highest income tax rate in the country at 10 percent, ran a $19 billion surplus and then the next year put an extra $10 billion in taxes on hardworking Minnesotans,” he added.
Harris-Walz campaign spokesman Charles Luttwak previously told Fox News Digital, “Governor Walz has brought Minnesota back to life with strong leadership, competent management and smart policies like lowering taxes for working families and achieving the lowest unemployment rate in history.”
Long Herr, owner of New Fashion Tailoring and Alteration in St. Paul, Minnesota, told Fox News Digital that he watched in despair as his St. Paul store was vandalized during the 2020 George Floyd riots, and said Walz has failed to protect business owners like him.
