Left-wing TV and radio host Charlaman “The God” has criticized former President Donald Trump for appearing “everywhere” at campaign rallies while Vice President Kamala Harris has not given any interviews.
“She needs to do more interviews,” Charmagne said of Harris. this week host Jonathan Karl said in a recent interview.

The radio host seemed confused as to why the vice president would avoid unscripted interviews with “pro-media” people.
“It’s surprising we haven’t seen her answer the question yet,” Karl noted. The Breakfast Club The radio host responded: “I don’t really know, because it’s the bottom of the ninth inning, right?”
Added Charlaman: “I think she should be everywhere having these conversations.”
“I really don’t know why she hasn’t been interviewed yet,” Charmagne said, noting that “Donald Trump is still sucking the air out of the headlines. He continues to create the headlines.”
“He’s everywhere,” Charmagne continued. “You saw him at the National Association of Black Journalists convention, you saw him on an appearance with Adyn Roth, he’s going to be on an appearance with Elon Musk. He’s always calling into conservative talk radio, which is one of my biggest problems with the Democratic Party.”
“They don’t use the media to support them in the same way that the right wing uses the media to support them,” the radio host pointed out.
Elsewhere in the interview, Charmagne said he thinks there’s “a lot of energy” behind the Harris campaign.
“People are calling this the ‘honeymoon phase,’ but I don’t think it’s a honeymoon phase,” he said. “I just think people have been enervated within the Democratic Party for a long time.”
While Harris’ campaign appears to be active, many argue that’s likely due in part to the vice president’s ability to dodge the press and not give the public a chance to hear her in unscripted interviews.
Charmagne also called Harris’ selection of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (Democrat) as her running mate a “DEI hire.”
“They have a great lineup,” he said, “whether it’s Gov. Josh Shapiro, whether it’s Gretchen Whitmer or Wes Moore. [Pete] “What do you think about the selection of Buttigieg? Although you didn’t say his name at the time,” Karl responded.
“I didn’t know him,” Charmagne laughed, to which Karl replied, “Most Americans didn’t know him.”
“I was a little disappointed at first,” Charmagne said, “because I knew she needed a DEI person. She needed a white guy to make America feel safe.”
