FOX 13 reported that Dinan saw a man chasing a carjacker with what appeared to be a baseball bat as the suspect ran over a woman with his SUV, leaving her injured and lying in the street.

“He was a plumber who worked nearby and happened to have a bat with him and was trying to save her,” Dinan said.

Dinan said the plumbers tried to smash the back window of the stolen SUV, damaging the windshield and allowing some of the dogs inside to escape.
