An Arizona sex offender who allegedly threatened to assassinate former President Donald Trump was arrested after a three-day manhunt, perilously close to where Trump was speaking about the border crisis.
The man, Robert Lee Sivrad, is a registered Democrat and is believed to have posted online threats against the Republican presidential candidate.
“Given the Thomas Crooks fiasco, you would think that the Secret Service would have warned Donald Trump about this particular situation?” Sara Gonzalez asks the author of “Sara Gonzales Unfiltered.”
“There’s no need to rush,” she added.
As President Trump spoke to reporters at the border in Arizona, one reporter asked him if he was aware of the situation.
“Someone in this county has made death threats against you. Did you hear about that before you came here? And how do you feel about coming here?” the reporter asked.
“I hear it’s dangerous, but I have a job to do. I hear it’s very dangerous, but I haven’t heard about it. Maybe they don’t want me to know. Thanks for letting me know. I’m getting out of here right now,” Trump replied, drawing laughter from the audience.
“He’s really good at this,” Gonzalez comments.
Pat Gray of “Pat Gray Unleashed” isn’t surprised that this keeps happening.
“Is this an opportunity for Democrats to stop demonizing this guy as much as you are?” he asked, adding, “I mean the rhetoric that they spew about him. Of course, there are crazy people who want to do harm to Donald Trump.”
