The entire premise of the upcoming reality show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” will probably surprise you — it involves swapping, but not playground swapping — but you’ll be blown away when you find out how much these women are making through their TikTok deals and partnerships.
The series follows the lives of several influencers, all Mormon mothers, in the aftermath of the sex-swapping scandal exposed by self-proclaimed “MomTalk” founder Taylor Frankie Paul.
She shocked the world when she revealed that she and her ex-husband had a “soft swinging” relationship – an agreement to have multiple partners but not to go “all the way”.

Not only has she changed her life, but so have other women in her community, including Whitney Leavitt and Macy Neely, who appear in the new Hulu show. Though both say they weren’t involved in the swapping scandal, they acknowledge that it has affected their pay as working influencers, for better or worse.

“To be honest with you, it just created more publicity for us,” Leavitt said. E-News! As for how the scandal affected her salary?
But Neely disagrees to some extent.
“But it’s kind of a mix,” she says. “I did my own business launch event on the show and a couple of vendors almost walked away because they were like, ‘Wait a minute, you’re doing a swing thing?’ So, reputation-wise, [we] It took a bit of a hit, but I don’t think it had a huge impact on my income.”

As for how much they’re making, Leavitt said it’s hard to estimate.
“It’s hard because every year is different. … You might get a really big brand deal, like, ‘I want to get you a six-month deal,’ and then the next year you might not get a deal at all. It changes a lot.”
“It’s probably different for each person depending on their specialty, whether it’s fitness, health or beauty,” the soon-to-be mother of three says. “Is it toys or mommy stuff for kids?”

“It varies by industry; some pay more than others,” Neely added.
Leavitt, who has 2 million followers on TikTok, gave the example of a bigger deal: He was paid $20,000 for promoting a sex toy on social media, but that five-figure sum isn’t the most he or Neely have ever seen.
“We both signed a contract — I can’t tell you how much it was, but we both signed a one-year contract for $75,000,” said Neely, who has 1.3 million followers on TikTok.
