While Kamala Harris continues to avoid face-to-face interviews with mainstream media, J.D. Vance has proven he can easily do interviews without a teleprompter, especially with those on the establishment left.
So Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report shared some striking footage of Vance challenging CNN's Dana Bash about Kamala's running mate, Tim Walz.
Bash began defending Walz's National Guard activities, telling J.D. Vance that Walz didn't know the National Guard would be deployed to Iraq when he filed his election paperwork.
“He actually quit two months before he received the papers,” Bash claimed.
“But last night on CNN, Dana, one of his actual bosses said he knew he was going to be deployed to Iraq in the fall of 2004. So he knew he was going to Iraq. He made the decision to resign, retire, whatever term you want to use,” Vance fired back, “because he wanted to run for Congress.”
“He lied about that, saying he didn't know he was going to Iraq when he decided to retire. That's another lie, and his senior military officers say the same. So, again, I'm not criticizing the military, I'm criticizing dishonesty. Dishonesty conveniently couched for political gain.”
Bash remained silent, but Vance continued, this time questioning Kamala's judgment.
“Why would Kamala Harris pick someone who lied about her military service? I think this is a serious error of judgment. I don't want to hear Kamala Harris' campaign spokesperson, I want to hear Kamala Harris herself speak about what I said,” he said.
“When you ask, why did Kamala Harris have wide open borders? Why would she support policies that have led to higher inflation? I think that gets to the heart of her judgment.”
