No one was having more fun at the Paris Olympics than U.S. rugby sevens star Ilona Maher.
Maher has been a constant trending topic on social media with his TikTok videos and has also been a dominant force on the field, leading his rugby sevens team to a bronze medal victory over Australia.

Maher's growing popularity led to her being offered a photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The photo, released Wednesday, shows her posing in her swimsuit with her bronze medal in hand.
Maher, who seems comfortable talking about anything, was also prepared to formally endorse the president.
“I think it's great because we have a chance to have female representatives elected and change this country in a direction that's beneficial to us,” she said. He told SI“…It's an endorsement of Kamala Harris.”
Maher, a Vermont native, told the outlet that abortion and contraception rights are among the issues that are important to her.

“If I don't need to have an abortion, I have enough money to raise the baby myself,” she added.
“If I want to have an abortion, I can, so I have that privilege. But I worry about other girls. I have a choice, and I want to remember that not all of my followers have that. So this is for me, but mostly for them too.”
Senator Harris and Democrats have criticized former President Donald Trump's stance on abortion. In her speech at the Democratic National Convention, Senator Harris said that Trump and his “allies will restrict access to birth control, impose drug and abortion bans, and enact nationwide anti-abortion laws, with or without Congress.”
But the Trump campaign has repeatedly maintained that a future administration would leave abortion policy decisions up to the states.
The move to move away from the abortion issue following the overturning of Roe v. Wade was reflected in the Republican Party's official platform, released last month.

“We believe that the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees that no person shall be denied life or liberty without due process, and therefore states are free to enact laws to protect those rights,” the draft states.

But for the first time in 40 years, the document makes no mention of a federal abortion ban, something President Trump has made a point of opposing.
