Puerto Rican musicians bring star power, endorse Trump: ‘Best president the world has seen’

Puerto Rican musicians Anuel AA and Justin Quiles attended former President Trump's latest rally in Pennsylvania, where they called the Republican candidate “the best president the world has ever seen.”

The 45th President of the United States introduced the reggaeton stars as “legends in the music world” and added that “every Puerto Rican will vote for Trump.”

The two Caribbean idols appeared on stage wearing red MAGA hats. Anuel said at the rally, “I'm from Puerto Rico. It's no secret that we've been through a lot as a country since Trump was gone. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican man from Carolina continued, “Puerto Ricans, let's unite. Let's vote for Trump. I've spoken to him personally and he wants to see Puerto Rico grow and succeed as a country.”

The rapper and singer added, “He wants to continue to help.” Latinos in the United States Let's do things the right way and make America great again.”

Connecticut-born Latin music star Quiles echoed Anuel's words.

“Mr. President, more than anything, I like you because, as I always say, you're not a puppet. I support you because I feel you're the most honest president in history,” the 34-year-old said.

“Many Latinos are standing strong alongside President Trump. Thank you for sharing how important it is to make Puerto Rico great again. Not just Puerto Rico, but America great again!”

Former President Trump thanked both artists for their “wonderful” speeches and shook their hands before they left the stage amid cheers from the audience.

While other rappers have voiced various levels of support for Trump, the appearance of musicians from the U.S. territory marks the first time major Latino artists have endorsed Trump at a rally this election season.

Both reggaeton stars shared stories from the event on Instagram.

Kires Posted a selfie With President Trump wearing a MAGA hat. The former president wore a white baseball cap with the words “Make Puerto Rico Great Again” embroidered in black letters.
