Fox 29 in Philadelphia witnessed a Philadelphia Eagles fan taping paper over a poster in support of Kamala Harris that was mistakenly listed as being for the NFL team.
The NFL fan, who called himself “Joe,” said the fake posters claiming the team was officially endorsing Harris were worrying and could “hinder a fair election.”
Fox cameras caught Joe using a glue stick to attach an excerpt from an Eagles press release that said the team did not endorse Harris and was not responsible for the posters that were posted in Philadelphia's public transportation bus shelters.
“This is a very concerning situation to me because whoever put this in this case did a few things. I'm a lifelong Philadelphian from South Philadelphia. I love the Eagles and will be loyal to them to the end,” Fan told reporters.
“I'm a Republican, I'll say that,” he continued, “but my concern here isn't that someone is expressing an opinion, which everyone has a right to do, but that this person is lying to everyone who uses this forum.” [bus] Stop.”

“That's what I'm very concerned about, the fact that they're spreading the lie that the Philadelphia Eagles have endorsed Kamala Harris for president of the United States,” Joe explained.
“We all know Philadelphia is a battleground state in Pennsylvania, and these lies undermine the integrity of our election process,” Joe argued. “And I think what we need to promote is the integrity of the process.”
The posters appear to have been put up at several bus stops across the city at some point over the weekend.
The photo was taken today on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania at 34th and Walnut Streets in Philadelphia.

But the Eagles released a statement on Monday denying responsibility for the posters or confirming whether they endorsed Harris.
“We are aware of fake political ads in the wild and are working with our advertising partners to remove them,” the team said in X's post.

Some social media users have attributed the fake left-wing posters to Winston Tseng, a street artist who has produced a series of anti-Trump, pro-Biden, pro-Harris graphics.
