Donald Trump is leading Kamala Harris nationally, according to a new poll by McLaughlin and Associates.
Nationally, Trump is leading Kamala Harris 49% to 47% and, when third-party candidates are included, the figure is 47% to 46%, according to the poll.
Further evidence that incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris' approval rating is no longer at its peak in the polls is a major survey by McLaughlin and Associates showing former President Trump with a 2-point lead nationally, 49 to 47 percent.
McLoughlin & Associates conducted the poll of 1,778 voters between Aug. 29 and Sept. 1 and found Donald leading Border Czar Cackley McNever 49-47 percent.
If third-party candidates are also added to the ballot, Kamala Harris has a one-point lead, 47% to 46%.
Election analyst Nate Silver recently delivered some great news to Donald Trump, saying that his model gives him a 58.2% chance of winning the Electoral College.
Former President Donald Trump's chances of winning the 2024 election have surged in the last month, while Vice President Kamala Harris is struggling to find “second gear,” according to pollster Nate Silver.
The FiveThirtyEight founder and data analyst said on Wednesday that his presidential election model gives Trump a 58.2% chance of winning the Electoral College in November's election, while Harris has a 41.6% chance of winning.
“Trump's chances of victory are now the highest they've been since July 30,” Silver said in his latest election forecast bulletin. “The chances of a split in the electoral college and popular vote going against Harris have risen to nearly 18 percent.”
Silver's model projects that Ms Harris has a 58.9% chance of winning the national popular vote (which does not affect the outcome of the election), but that Mr Trump would win 274 electoral votes, surpassing the vice president's estimated 263 electoral votes.
